bed was extra large, room big and breakfast very good and varied
Before I booked this hotel, I read a lot of comments and decided to book because several people said the location was good or very good. Not so in my opinion, it took about 25 minutes to reach the riverbank and all down, not imagine the rise after dinner. It's not practical if you need to go back to the hotel to shower, get ready for dinner after a day's walking or go for a rest. The cleaners are very noisy in the corridor of the rooms, I was woken up at 8:00 am by the screams between them, I think that to be a Eurostar should be more careful. And another complaint or inconvenience was that they have the typical bathtub, there is no shower tray, in which every three minutes you suddenly get cold water, something that is not expected from a Eurostar. I must also say that at the reception and breakfast all the staff was very attentive and pleasant. For the parking you have to book but I sent an email and they said they could book a place but would "do their best", which is not a guarantee. So I was looking for options online and discovered "Parclick" which gives you the option to book for 12 Euros a night and then you are given like a card and can come and go as many times as you like. It is open 24 hours and luckily there is one just around the corner from the hotel. If you park in the hotel and go out one day to see something maybe at night you don't have space anymore, I didn't like that.

Recommended for its location, I was right. In a quiet neighbourhood from which you can reach the whole historical centre of Porto on foot, 10 minutes from the wonderful gardens of the Crystal Palace. latter is under construction but the gardens are a must, due to their spaciousness, variety of styles, views over the river. Parking in the back yard of the hotel is quite comfortable for 12 Euros a day, to "forget about the car". rooms are well appointed in a Eurostars 4*. of our rooms are adjacent and have an internal door for communication, practical for our family use. If you prefer to have breakfast outside the hotel. in the adjoining building there is a good cafeteria with all the traditional Portuguese pastries, including the famous Pasteis de Belem, Pasteis de Natas, They also have great salads and plenty of them for dinner.

The room was well furnished and large with a comfortable bed and all the essentials, including toiletries. The location was ideal, a short walk to Soares dos Reis National Museum.- It was a really nice stay for 8 nights, just what was needed.

It was really good time in Porto. The place was well-maintained, we liked it.
Though the breakfast itself was extensive and varied, it certainly should have been was n't included in my rate.

Great, varied and good quality breakfast.
The parking fee is paid separately and is not clear at the time of booking. It should be a highlight of the accommodation. . The location is not bad although if you are going to visit the city you will always have to go up to return to the hotel. It gets tiring to get there. Inside the room there was a lot of humidity and it was hot, the air conditioning works but it is too powerful. In the city it was not too hot, I don't want to imagine how it will be to sleep there with other weather conditions. We spent two nights there, we left the "do not disturb" sign on so that no one would enter the room during the day we spent visiting the city. When we came back at night they had entered to make the room. Conclusion: 210 euros for two nights does not seem to us to be in accordance with the services provided.

Although the hotel is situated away from the historical centre of Porto it is within easy walking distance of the centre and transport links. The hotel is excellent and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was spotless and everything in the room worked. The bed was large and very comfortable. Free safety deposit box in room. Excellent breakfast, including fruits, cereals, usual continental fare, and hot choice (scrambled egg, bacon, mushroom, tomato, sausage).Bar prices reasonable for a 4* hotel. Happy to recommend this hotel and would definately stay there again on our next trip to Porto.

The room is not small, the bed is very wide and they have a pillow menu. The situation of the hotel is very good but not excellent. The cradle we requested was already ready and it is also a cradle-park. The best, without a doubt, is the breakfast, very varied and rich. In addition, the breakfast schedule is until 11 o'clock.
We couldn't take a bath because the drain plug was broken and they didn't fix it even though we asked them to. access is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, baby carriage has to be carried a few steps. parking costs 12 euros per day. We asked for a kettle to make the baby's bottle in the room but they don't have one. machine that serves the milk is slow. Bearing in mind that, in general, level of the hotel is more of a three stars than a four stars, extra cost of the parking, it is a quality - price relation that can be improved.

A very nice hotel in a quiet but central part of the city near art galleries and shopping. Convienent to bus transportation, including the hop-on/hop-off busses. Very helpful desk staff. Our spacious, clean and comfortable modern room was at the back of the hotel in the new section. Quiet at night. Woke to the sounds of noisy seagulls (not roosters!). We enjoyed an excellent stay.
Matresses were too hard.
